“I acknowledge that by enrolling in a course at SchoolCentral Training Academy, I understand and agree to the following terms regarding the course’s learning pathway, assessment methods, and certification:

1. Course Structure and Learning Pathway

  • Module-Based Learning: I understand that the course is divided into core modules (e.g., KM-01: Introductory Studies for Project Managers) and that I must successfully complete each module to progress to the next. The structure is designed to build my skills incrementally, from beginner to advanced levels.

  • Course Timeline: I am responsible for adhering to the course timeline and schedule. This includes completing each module, assignment, or assessment within the specified deadlines provided by SchoolCentral.

  • Prerequisites: I understand that certain modules may have prerequisites, and I must complete the required modules before accessing more advanced ones.

2. Assessments and Grading

  • Assessment Types: I acknowledge that the course includes various assessment types, including but not limited to:

    • Quizzes
    • Assignments
    • Case studies
    • Practical exercises (e.g., project timelines, risk management plans)
    • Final Integrated Summative Assessments (e.g., PM-12: Real-world project simulation)

  • Completion of Assessments: I agree to submit all assignments and assessments by the stated deadlines. I understand that failing to submit assessments on time without a valid reason may affect my ability to progress in the course and receive certification.

  • Independent Work: I confirm that all individual assessments will be completed by me without unauthorized assistance, unless specified as group work or collaboration.

3. Feedback and Progress Tracking

  • Progress Tracking: I understand that my progress will be tracked through the completion of each module, including quizzes, assignments, and assessments. I will have access to progress reports, feedback from instructors, and areas for improvement.

  • Instructor Feedback: I acknowledge that instructors will provide feedback on my assignments and assessments, and I will use this feedback to improve my understanding and performance.

  • Mid-Course Check-ins: I understand that there may be scheduled mid-course check-ins to review my progress and discuss any challenges. It is my responsibility to attend these sessions and seek help when needed.

4. Certification and Course Completion

  • Certification Criteria: I acknowledge that in order to receive a certification or a certificate of completion, I must:

    • Complete all required modules.
    • Pass all assessments with a minimum score as specified in the course guidelines (e.g., 70% or higher for certain modules).
    • Submit the final integrated summative assessment, if applicable.

  • Failure to Meet Requirements: I understand that failure to meet the minimum assessment requirements or to complete the course in the designated time frame may result in me not receiving certification. In such cases, I may need to retake the course or specific modules at an additional cost.

5. Retake and Resubmission Policy

  • Assessment Retakes: If I fail an assessment, I may be allowed to resubmit or retake the assessment, depending on the course’s retake policy. Retakes may be limited to a specific number of attempts (e.g., 1 or 2 retakes per assessment).

  • Resubmission Deadlines: If a retake is permitted, I agree to resubmit the assessment within the new deadline specified by the instructor or course administrator.

6. Learner Support and Assistance

  • Support Services: I acknowledge that SchoolCentral Training Academy provides learner support services, including instructor office hours, help desks, and peer-to-peer learning groups. It is my responsibility to utilize these services when I need help or clarification.

  • Requesting Extensions: If I encounter difficulties that prevent me from completing assessments or attending required sessions (e.g., illness, family emergencies), I will inform the instructor or support team as soon as possible to request an extension or special consideration. All extension requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Academic Integrity

  • Original Work: I agree to complete all assignments and assessments independently unless the course specifies group work or collaboration. I will not plagiarize or use unauthorized resources during assessments.

  • Consequences of Academic Misconduct: I understand that any form of cheating, plagiarism, or falsification of assessment results may result in disciplinary action, including expulsion from the course and loss of eligibility for certification.

8. Acknowledgment of Learning Pathway Adjustments

  • Changes to Learning Pathway: I acknowledge that SchoolCentral may update or modify the learning pathway, course content, or assessment methods to align with best practices or industry standards. Any significant changes will be communicated to me in advance, and I will be given ample time to adjust.

9. Consent and Agreement

By enrolling in this course, I agree to follow the guidelines laid out in this Acknowledgment of Learning Pathway and Assessment Agreement. I understand that these conditions are essential for my successful completion of the course and for receiving certification from SchoolCentral Training Academy.”
